eh its not really that great. but its worth it for her.

EVERYONE SHOULD WIN. MORE WINNERS ARE GOOD. not me. i hate winning. plus you had like 50 icons so there should be at least 10 winners. maybe more like 25 :D

Lol how can you hate winning? Well, let's just say that every icon that got at least one vote was in a tie of some kind. If I had taken my original numbers, it would be like 30ish winners. I was happy with the participation, though. :D

i dunno, i don't really like to win frequently, i'd rather other people got to win? so its not i hate it per say, its just not what i'm interested in, and i'd rather other people got the win

You are honestly the only person I've ever heard say that. I like to win, but I like to see lots of different winners, not just one or two people winning in multiple places/categories.

yeah! lots of different ones is the best. i hate it when its always the same people over and over - especially in some elite comms where i think its sometimes the people rather than the icons that are voted for. but that's just me. i like non-elite ones a lot more when a variation of people win

Yeah, I feel the same way. I don't get why people vote based solely on who made an icon (and we all know that's what some people do, unfortunately). Not every icon that makers make is going to be good (elite or otherwise) so it doesn't make sense that the same elite makers win every time. It kinda makes me wish that some of them had closed submissions/voting. Though I guess it does make me appreciate it more when I do win because I'm not one that always gets the votes. But yeah, I like variety.

yeah i like variety, i think that the more people in the comm, the more varied the results are. but then i do feel bad when someone just doesn't seem to ever place. i like closed voting, but i prefer open posts (obviously) i dunno, i just like being able to look at them straight away.

Yeah, I agree. I like elite comms well enough, but I think some of them are too elite, which really limits the number that can get in (and thus who can really place in challenges). Yeah, I do, too, but at the same time I like how some of them don't give up and keep trying. :) I actually do prefer the open posts. I like being able to get feedback on my icons right away instead of having to wait. I just think that sometimes not knowing who made something would be a good thing in terms of voting. Oh well, can't have it all, I guess.

yeah i dunno how i feel, its really all opinon/your taste based and it makes it hard when people are outside the box.

not knowing is better for voting, but so far i haven't noticed it influencing iconthat so i'm crossing my fingers!
